Worship Service

We meet every Sunday morning at 10:00am, and would love to have you join us!  We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes prior to allow for parking, registering your children (if you have them), and finding a seat.

HOW TO PREPARE:

Casual dress is very appropriate at Harvest. You will see everything from sport coats to golf shirts, khakis and dresses to jeans and short sleeves.  If you have a Bible, bring it.  If not, no problem.  We have some extras that we would be happy to lend you.  The services average about 80-90 minutes in length, though we invite you to stay longer to connect with others.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

On a typical Sunday, you'll be greeted as you enter.  We hope you'll find the warmth of our church family friendly and inviting.  As you enter the building, our greeters will answer any questions you have about the church or direct you where to go in the building.  If you have children (birth through fifth grade), we invite you to check them in at Harvest Kids, our weekly Children's Ministry.

As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you, provide a bulletin for you and direct you to your seat.  The service usually begins with contemporary worship, led by a band – no choir robes or organ music, but you may hear some familiar hymns from time to time.  Most people stand during this time, however, there is complete freedom to be seated if you prefer.  The words of all of the songs are projected onto a screen.  You'll probably hear songs you can relate to even if you haven't been to church in years.

Then, like most churches we take an offering.  If you’re a guest – relax! There's no obligation at all on your part.  This is a time that our church family celebrates how God has blessed us by giving back a portion of the resources He's given us.  Feel free to join us or just pass the offering bag on down the row.

We also pass what we call the "Fellowship Register."  We like everyone to fill this out as it allows us to get to know you a bit. You can request information, ask for prayer, let us know your thoughts, or just indicate your presence with us.  In any case, we use it to pray for you during the week.  And you can rest assured, you won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything else embarrassing) just because you’re new.

Last, Pastor Mike will encourage and challenge you with a practical message from the Bible. You’ll be able to easily follow along with a simple outline provided in your bulletin, so that what you learn on Sunday, you'll be able to use and apply during the week.

After the service, we welcome you to stay around and get to know some of the people. Pastor Mike would love to meet you as well as any of the staff and leaders.  We also have the Welcome Counter available in the lobby where friendly folks are waiting to greet you before and after the service, hear your story and help you find out more about the church.

We hope your visit with us is a real blessing to you.  And we hope that visit becomes a long-term stay!
