Harvest Kids exists to glorify God by coming alongside families to help their children become life-long, maturing disciples of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:5-7
You shall love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command to you shall be on your hear. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and you shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it.
Colossians 1:28
Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
The Bible teaches that God loves and values children. In Mark 10:14-16 Jesus said, “‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’ And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.” Children can know Jesus and it is His desire for them to know and love him.
We believe that this ministry can be a part of the process of children coming to know and love our Savior. And that we can do this best by partnering with parents in building firm foundations of faith. It is our desire to help reinforce the spiritual formation that takes place at home.
